Job Description
We are looking for a Sustainability Engineer - Subject Matter Expert to the Software&Conrtol campus in Katowice.
You will Perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for Software&Control products.
You will report to the Manager, located in Poland.
Position is located in Katowice.
Your Responsibilities:

Develop new or refine existing models for various products to facilitate Lifecycle assessments.

Perform LCA for various products: data preparation and assessment, use of Simapro or similar platforms.

Source and structure data that may not be readily available.

Execute the assigned projects and deliver on time/on budget milestones. Result of LCA would integrate into product development deliverables and enhance product designs from sustainability point of view.

Lead sustainability effort for respective product businesses as assigned, including evaluation and completion of design for sustainability score cards and metrics

Contribute to the development and documentation of the product Design for Sustainability strategy including vision of success, key attributes and measurements, prioritization, education, and implementation.

Demonstrate capability to work on multiple projects/products at any one time. Work with cross-business and cross-regional teams to leverage expertise where it is available.

Collaborate with the product business groups, integrated supply chain, as well as the sales and marketing organizations. Work with regions to develop programs that meet global needs
The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, from an accredited institution

LCA certificate or similar credentials.

Knowledge of automation products
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
-
A minimum of 5 years' experience in sustainability, or product environmental programs, in electronics industry working with electromechanical products.

Expertise in LCA tools, software and libraries (GaBi, SimaPro for example)

A high level of enthusiasm, creativity and effectiveness as a team player.

Knowledge of Rockwell products (Drive, Controllers, etc)

Knowledgeable in Sustainable Engineering methodologies and product life cycle assessment

Have and be able to gather and analyze information and help develop appropriate options and actions.

Good, fosters collaboration among team members and among teams; uses teams to address relevant issues.
