THE JOB:

Casino Surveillance is not your traditional Security role. It is a fast paced, highly math-based role, that will have its challenges on an everyday basis. This role is responsibility is to protect the assets of the casino by ensuring that all employees are following their departmental standard operating procedures and patrons are adhering to the rules of the games. With multiple outlets the role is responsible on surveying, this role is constantly doing math-based calculations to ensure the numbers are correct.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Operate various closed-circuit television (CCTV) technology to monitor and review casino activities, archive audio and video evidence, and monitor the system for malfunctions.
  • Proactively monitor all casino areas and personnel.
  • Observe all table games and be able to verify all the payouts based on different sets of odds.
  • Review employee and guest claims then complete required documentation regarding specific incidents. 
  • Identify trends and abnormalities by reviewing data through various software applications and investigating anomalies.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent basic math skills (being able to add, subtract, divide, and multiply mentally).
  • Highly skilled with the ability to retain a lot of new information quickly.
  • Great team player who can work both independently and on group projects.
  • Takes pride in their work and is self-motivated.
  • Ability to type reports with proper grammar.
  • No prior casino surveillance experience necessary. Training will be provided.

Must be flexible to work outside primary schedule based on the business need.
