This position will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, issuing to production, reverse logistics tasks, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff. Will oversee operations at a warehouse or storage facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Manage 3PL performance, resolve logistical challenges by communicating with production and transportation providers, and buyers/planners. Task include managing in-house 3PL team to support supply to production; vice-versa. Rearranging flows of materials for improved efficiency while allowing Warehouse Workers to easily navigate between aisles. Roles & Responsibilities- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
- Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
- Communicating with productions, buyers, and planners to answer work order flow questions and troubleshoot problems
- Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
- Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
- Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery
- Monitoring warehouse management systems to supervise the flow of inventory and make adjustment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Manage transport companies and 3PL
- Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
- Administering inventories control, cycle count
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations specified and recording and communicating inventory levels.
- Help productions, planners, buyers to resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise.
- Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
- Degree in Logistics Management
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics
- A team player with the ability to multi-task and organize work systematically

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast changing and demanding environment.
Minimum Qualifications

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or equivalent experience
- Experience supervising warehouse staff and assigning workloads
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and cycle counting
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to manage 3PLs and transport providers
