The Horace Mann General Agency (HMGA) Supervisor will manage day-to-day operations and lead a team of HMGA representatives, providing support on escalated issues and addressing any performance concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is integrated coaching of HMGA representatives to improve efficiency and quality.
- Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training of new HMGA representatives.
- Develop and facilitate necessary training for the HMGA team.
- Work with team to drive desired results (Sales, Close Rate, notices, Compliance, Billing, and Admin.).
- Work with other departments regarding sales products, training, commissions
- Employee development and ongoing training.
- Work with leadership to improve and maintain sales efficiencies, sales goals, and retention.
- Work with agents to resolve issues related to product, sales, and process.
- Identify and address performance gaps and facilitates additional training as needed.
- Maintain and report on balanced scorecard using Key Performance Indicators for individual representatives.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- College degree in business-related field or equivalent experience in a position, preferred.
- Must have active license in P&C.
- 3+ years of insurance related sales experience.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience.

Pay Range:
- $50,100.00 - $78,800.00
Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
