Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing incident, change request and enhancement support to Application Management Services (AMS) customers for SAP SuccessFactors.
Experienced consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors for EC, EC Time Off & ECP modules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Designing: Liaison with SMEs to understand their Business Requirements and advise them efficient system solutions. If required, guide the clients in re-engineering their Business Processes. Also educate them on alternatives for system design & advice how to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Implementation: Configure and Test SAP SuccessFactors modules
  • Data Migration: Perform/Support Data Migration as required.
  • Client Engagement: Setup relevant data within the configured SAP SuccessFactors module, so as to showcase to client the end-to-end business process. Collect & process the feedbacks from Clients, to make necessary system changes. Also extend extensive support to Clients when they test SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Training: Educate clients on how to use SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Documentation: Diligently document Business Requirements so as to baseline for implementation. Prepare training materials & other documents required for successful completion of the project.
  • Support: Post implementation, understand the requirements / issues from the client and provide necessary technical solutions. This could include fixing issues and/or implementing new features based on business need.

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience 

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of SAP experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), Employee Central Time Off and Employee Central Payroll including implementation and configuration knowledge.
  • Minimum 1 End to End implementation experience in SF Employee Central, EC Time Off and EC Payroll.
  • Understanding of business processes related to Core HR
  • Knowledge/experience of any other SuccessFactors module will be an added advantage.
  • Responsible for maintaining Configuration Workbooks and Knowledge in integration of Recruitment with Employee Central. 
  • Strong experience in EC/EC Time Off/EC Payroll support project and collaboratively work with the team.
  • Certified in SuccessFactors Employee Central is a plus but not mandatory.
  • The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, be self-directed, and be capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and data protection policies and regulations.
  • Participate in the review of new functionality for each system release and in the implementation and testing of the release.
  • Involved in UAT reviews and Sign-offs, staging data, walk-through processes with business, and explaining the errors.
  • Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to customer service and be committed to a proactive review of processes and procedures to continually enhance service quality, service delivery, and support.
     

Skills 

  • Superb technical trouble-shooting skills ability to debug payroll schema and log and the tenacity for complex problem solving.
  • Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients.
  • Strong knowledge of key application functionality, tables, and relationships
  • Deep knowledge of SAP customization/extension methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quick.
  • Extreme focus on Client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Desired Qualifications

  • The best candidates will have extensive knowledge of multiple SAP modules across releases (4.x & ECC) including proficiency with SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules and knowledge of underlying technology
  • Knowledge of SAP Industry Solutions Public Sector would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of any Country Specific Solutions would be an advantage
  • A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful
  • Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage
