Job DescriptionAbout the Job
You will work in a small, 3-member micro-team with a Business Developer, who negotiates prices and take care of the overall commercial relation with the supplier, and a Production Engineer who takes care about production process and quality. Taking the leadership within the business team for the logistics agenda, you will be responsible to enable consistently high and stable availability for our IKEA customers at the lowest possible cost by:
- Securing supplier’s capacity planning and execution process to achieve excellence in running operations.
- Leading logistics development in collaboration with suppliers contributing to total value chain optimization and development.
- Dispatch planning and optimizing flow from sending perspective.
- Actively contributes to the planning and execution of the best set-up for range changes at supplier, news and discontinued products, activities, and business contingency planning processes.
- Defining and securing implementation of ways of working, systems & tools to support business decisions and suppliers to achieve logistics performance.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain & Planning, S&OP and logistics.
- Deep knowledge of supplier capabilities, material, production flow, production processes, constraints, yield, and available capacities.
- Sense of detail and capability of working with processes, routines & discipline & data accuracy & risk identification and scenario planning.
- Strong desire to seek logistics development and cost out opportunities and make it happen.
- Capability to deliver results through involving and engaging internal and external stakeholders with trust and partnerships.
- Communicates clearly, professionally, and assertively.
- Team player and collaboration skills.
- Capability of problem solving and conclude
- Proficient communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
