Supply Planner
Role Overview:
Huntsman Corporation’s Regional Supply Chain team is searching for an experienced Supply Planner in our newly formed hub in Krakow. Reporting to the Supply Team Lead, you will ensure supply plans support global demand plans with the minimum inventory required for your portfolio. You will communicate the supply needs to operations to execute demand plan and proactively anticipate and inform Demand Planners when supply can’t meet demand. In addition, you will be responsible for the inventory value at end of month and support the inventory forecasting exercise for the next coming months. The focus of the team will be to support our Advanced Materials divisions for the Europe, Africa, Middle East and India region.
We are looking for someone with excellent coordination and organizational skills, who can strongly communicate with multiple stakeholders and propose creative solutions to problems.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for:

Owning the global supply plan for your market portfolio.

Aligning manufacturing and warehousing by creating a supply network plan that provides clarity and alignment across supply-related functions.

Ensuring inventory is distributed efficiently along the global network, in agreement with the regional demand planner.

Highlighting whenever supply cannot meet demand to the demand planner, provide alternatives.

Dealing with different sources of supply (manufacturing sites, procurement) and ensure supply plan is accurate and regularly updated to show properly volumes to be supplied on a 24m horizon.

Ensuring inventory is used in the most profitable way for the company, highlighting whenever inventory can be used in a more profitable way than the agreed demand plan.

Ensuring blocked stock of the portfolio gets treated in a rapid manner.

Supporting Customer Service on the return process and advise best solution for returned goods.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:

Education in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Business/ Engineering will be a strong advantage

Professional experience in supply and/or production planning, with commercial and operational exposure

Fluent English (French and German is a plus)

APICS or SCOR experience and SC knowledge required

Expertise in inventory management

Knowledge and experience on S&OP or IBP processes will be a plus

SAP / ERP software process knowledge is beneficial
