Supply Planner

Mission
The Planner is responsible for managing and developing purchasing strategies across a defined principal portfolio as well as for formalizing a stock policy according to demand forecasts, principal’s capacities and available stocks in order to maximize working capital efficiency whilst meeting principal needs and supporting “best in class” customer satisfaction. This role interacts with both commercial and operational teams, working closely with Sales teams, Product Managers and Supply chain Administrators.
Main Accountabilities
Ensure optimal stock management:
- Define procurement strategies according to market dynamics, the Azelis commercial policies and product classification and the principals’ expectations/specifications. Interact with the commercial team to get market insights and improve sales forecasting accuracy.
- Set up master planning based on stock rotation, sales, customers behavior and maintain data regularly.
- Execute replenishments where needed, maximize stock availability, minimize product cost while reducing Net Working Capital. Ensure best balance between margins maximization and DIO optimization. Give preference to internal sourcing through local entities.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Administrators and Product Managers to remove blockers slowing down goods receipt.
- Limit obsolete stocks and rationalize impaired and expired stocks. Coordinate destocking actions.
- Join business reviews and share planning results. Follow up on market trends, principals’ organizations, product range specifications. Track principals’ supply consistency, detect opportunities, develop operational relationship.
- Provide purchase forecasts to Principals when required. Ensure purchase orders alignment with forecasts.
- Reconcile stock deviations and initiate stock counting where needed.
- Create principal accounts with Product Manager and Supply Chain Administrator. Ensure new products setup consistency.
- Master ERP functionalities and IT Systems related to own scope to work efficiently and provide best service to Customers and Principals.
Ensure conformance & contribute to sustainability:
- Ensure compliance with all QA and SHE requirements, procedures and working instructions in order to maintain high service standards and quality of Data Management.
- Translate the Group’s Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related actions.
Contribute to continuous process optimization and excellent teamwork:
- Provide regular feedback to supply chain business process owners and ERP key users to enable operational excellence, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop expertise in processes and work instructions related to own scope and support development of best practices.
- Provide cover for the Planning team as required.
