Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Supply Planner III for Apple products to join our Retail Wireless Product Team. This critical role is responsible for managing supply chain operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and maintaining smooth collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in inventory planning, supplier coordination, and the integration of new devices, driving operational success and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply plans to address demand fluctuations while minimizing out-of-stock or overstock situations.
- Leverage advanced supply chain software, such as o9, to optimize inventory management and resolve operational challenges.
- Analyze and address supply chain constraints, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and proactively mitigate supply disruptions.
- Participate in new device launches (iPads and Apple Watches), identifying and resolving supply challenges to support seamless integration.
- Conduct advanced data analysis and prepare insightful reports for senior leadership.
- Provide monthly purchasing recommendations to meet inventory targets across multiple channels.
- Oversee open purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) process, producing comprehensive weekly reports.
- Foster strong partnerships with OEMs to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 4 years in supply chain management or related roles.
- Proficiency in advanced supply planning software and tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
Preferred:
- Experience with supply chain systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan , or similar tools.
- Background in the wireless or technology industry, with an understanding of its unique dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
