Summary/Objective:
The Supply Planner II plays a pivotal role in optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the seamless alignment of supply with customer demand. This position owns the material planning of assigned items and stocking locations. The role requires managing complex planning responsibilities, collaborating with suppliers, and working closely with internal teams to prevent disruptions. The Supply Planner II contributes to achieving the organization’s goals by balancing inventory, maintaining accurate planning parameters, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and manage MRP outputs to balance inventory levels and purchase order plans against actual and forecasted demand.
  • Communicate purchase order requirements to the Supply Planner I team for execution, ensuring alignment with supply plans and lead times.
  • Monitor purchase order status and resolve any issues to maintain uninterrupted supply.
  • Oversee and execute distribution orders for any non-purchased stocking locations.
  • Work closely with the Demand Planning team to align forecasts with supply strategies and identify gaps or opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Business Development, Sales, Logistics, and Warehousing teams, to streamline operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and drive consensus on demand and supply plans.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving inventory turnover, reducing costs, and increasing service levels.
  • Drive team KPI’s such as fill rate, DIOH, spoils, dead stock, Planned Order generation vs Manual etc.
  • Ensure the master data tied to material planning parameters of assigned items and stocking locations is properly maintained.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain processes and implement best practices.
  • Proactively review inventory to minimize excess, aging, expired or dead stock and escalating with appropriate parties as needed.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management , related field or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory optimization techniques, and demand planning processes.
  • Experience using ERP & MRP systems - ideally Infor M3
  • Demonstrable experience using MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional team

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually plus bonus

Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
