Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Full-Time Supply Officer to support our team. The successful candidate will support the Supply department/Wards & Theatres by ensuring adequate stock is available as and when required and will be responsible for the ordering, receiving and storing of stock in relevant locations/stock levels in accordance with hospital purchasing and inventory control policies and procedures, as well as provision of usage reports to ensure stock controls enable organisational objectives.
About You:
You will be a highly organised and process focused individual with previous experience in a Supply role to enable you to succeed in this role.
Crucial to this role will be a high level of accuracy and time management skills with a strong team focus. An intermediate level of computer literacy/knowledge is required for this role.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a supply position is essential with medical stock experience being highly regarded.
- Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
- Availability to work Monday-Friday with weekend stocktakes that happen twice a year.
- Experience with stock controlling computer systems (SAP experience highly regarded)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
- Physical capability to perform warehouse and storage duties
