Technical Program Manager (TPM) - this is an individual contributor role

Location: Austin, TX or Santa Clara CA

100% onsite (not remote or hybrid)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex cross-functional initiatives focused on manufacturing readiness, supplier qualification, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to drive technical programs from concept through implementation.

The ideal candidate combines strong program management capabilities with technical expertise in manufacturing operations, supplier quality, product lifecycle management, and engineering collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of strategies, processes and resources.
  • Lead complex technical programs involving manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain organizations.
  • Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.
  • Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.
  • Drive supplier qualification and alternate source development initiatives to improve business continuity and reduce supply risk.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes, supplier capabilities, and qualification readiness.
  • Manage technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineering change implementation and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Facilitate root cause investigations and corrective action plans with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Develop and track program schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive communications.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure successful project execution and business outcomes.
  • Present program status, technical risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Experience working with supplier qualification and supplier quality methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing technical risks and driving issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supply Chain & Semiconductor Domain - Preferred Commodity Experience: Sensors/Process Power/PCBA.
  • Experience with supplier development and qualification programs.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
