About the Role
As Supply Chain Strategy & Business Development Manager, you will support the Supply Chain Leadership Team in driving Essity's transformation agenda and strategic priorities. This role combines strategy, project leadership, and executive support, offering a unique opportunity to influence key decisions across our global Supply Chain organization.
What You Will Do
Strategy & Transformation: Support the development and deployment of Essity's Supply Chain strategy and lead key transformation initiatives, including the IBP program rollout and some key digital transformation efforts.
Strategic Projects: Manage and drive high-priority projects and programs that strengthen supply chain performance, resilience, sustainability, service, and cost competitiveness.
Business Insights & Performance: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, develop KPIs, and provide recommendations that support decision-making at senior leadership level.
Governance & Execution: Track strategic initiatives, monitor progress against action plans, and ensure visibility of risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Leadership Support: Coordinate leadership planning processes, business reviews, performance follow-ups, and regular operating rhythms.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Prepare strategic communication materials, facilitate leadership meetings, and collaborate across Business Units and functions to drive alignment and execution.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute actively to enhancing ways of working, processes, and organizational effectiveness within the Supply Chain function.
Who You Are
University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
8-10 years of relevant experience within Supply Chain, ideally gained in both an industrial company and a consulting environment.
Strong business acumen combined with excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to translate insights into strategic actions.
Proven experience leading complex projects and programs in international and matrix organizations; project management certification is an advantage.
A collaborative and influential communicator who thrives in ambiguity, manages multiple priorities effectively, and builds strong relationships based on trust and credibility.
