Why this role matters:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Supply Chain Specialist to support our Global Manufacturing Infrastructure team in the important task of ensuring we have all the needed infrastructural components, processes and technical capabilities in place in all ICEYE’s manufacturing sites optimized for building our unique SAR microsatellites, supporting subsystems and products. This position is based in our headquarters in Espoo, Finland, but will require regular travelling to ICEYE’s manufacturing sites around the globe.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Source and evaluate global and local suppliers for infrastructure, equipment, and services
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and reliability
• Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely availability of critical components
• Collaborate with GMI, logistics, and global stakeholders to plan and coordinate delivery schedules

 

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• 3–5 years of experience in a buyer or procurement role within a high-tech environment
• Hands-on experience with sourcing, RFIs/RFQs, and supplier negotiations
• Experience working with international suppliers and managing global procurement processes
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work independently

 

Nice to haves:

• Experience in infrastructure, manufacturing setup, or production equipment sourcing
• Understanding of import/export, VAT, and trade compliance processes
• Exposure to aerospace, satellite, or other highly technical industries
