As a Supply Chain Specialist (Mechanics & Structures), you’ll ensure critical satellite components are delivered on time and to specification.

You will play a key role in enabling ICEYE’s satellite production by securing reliable supply of mechanical and structural components. Working closely with engineering and suppliers, you help maintain quality, reduce delays, and keep missions on track.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of Satellite components

  • Procurement execution and strategic sourcing of both custom-made mech parts and off-the-shelves products

  • Work closely with technical experts to ensure highest quality and reliability of deliverables

  • Maintain communication with vendors (supplier follow up) relating to changes of orders / drawings / item specs

  • Supplier negotiation on pricing, freight, lead time, shortage recovery etc.

  • Manage quality issues clearly with an efficient, practical, solution-oriented approach

  • Accountable for mitigating in all foreseeable and unforeseeable supply risks

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

  • A minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Supply Chain / Procurement within Aerospace, Engineering or industrial manufacturing

  • Experience with Mech parts (metal plates, sheets, structures etc.) in terms of production, manufacturing processes, procurement and supplier management

  • Basic knowledge in vendor qualification, vendor auditing and vendor onboarding

  • Reading and interpreting technical documents

  • Proficiency with using ERP systems

Nice to haves:

  • Quality management standards and certifications (ISO 9001 etc.)

  • Demonstrated proven ability in mitigating delay risk, price escalation and logistics challenges

  • Technical understanding of metallurgy, welding and complex manufacturing processes

  • Previous experience in Satellite engineering, Aerospace or Aviation industry
