Design, bring up, and maintain embedded Linux OS and bootloaders for SoC/FPGA-based satellite modules. Implement kernel drivers, manage boot/runtime services, integrate with FPGA and flight software, and build automation, testing, and deployment infrastructure for reliable OTA updates and system validation.

Manage program launch mission deliverables, coordinate with satellite engineering and launch service providers, build launch campaign processes and MGSE, prepare satellites for campaigns, and act as program point of contact to ensure safe, on-time launches.

Lead architecture and technical direction for spaceborne imaging systems from concept through manufacturing and qualification. Integrate optical design with detector and focal plane assemblies, make system-level trade-offs, mentor engineers, and raise team capability for next-generation, large optical instruments.

Manage launch inventory and MGSE lifecycle: inventory control (MES), refurbishment, safety and quality adherence, support MGSE design/build with engineering, implement LEAN 6S, and provide technical support during launch campaigns while coordinating with logistics, production, and external partners to ensure on-time, low-risk satellite launches.

Support and improve commercial operations by managing deal review and closure processes, ensuring CRM data quality, creating reports and dashboards, administering Salesforce, analysing sales performance, and driving process improvements, automation and AI-enabled solutions across sales, finance, legal, product, marketing, and delivery teams.

Provide on-site IT support for manufacturing and office environments, maintain endpoints and meeting-room tech, manage provisioning/MDM, troubleshoot networking (VPN/DNS/DHCP), administer IAM/Okta and SSO, support secure communications, and resolve global IT tickets via Jira Service Management.

Manage SAR satellite launch mission deliverables and campaigns, coordinate with launch providers and internal engineering, mitigate production-related launch risks, own technical launch requirements, and support launch readiness and execution.

Lead RF assembly, integration, and system-level validation for satellite RF subsystems. Execute RF verification campaigns, automate tests in Python, resolve RF integration anomalies, and support production readiness and design reviews.

Partner directly with the CEO to design and run the Centre of Excellence operating rhythm, capture decisions and drive cross-functional initiatives to closure, prepare executive briefings, engage institutional stakeholders, and build the organisation's operating system. Act as a discreet, high‑impact contributor to keep momentum and scale the Lisbon site, with a clear growth path toward Chief of Staff.

Develop and maintain embedded Linux flight software and user-space applications for SAR satellites. Manage build systems, CI/CD, packages, devices, init systems, filesystems, IPC, networking, and monitoring. Troubleshoot embedded/distributed systems, collaborate with hardware and subsystem teams, contribute to system-level architecture, and rotate ownership across components to improve engineering practices.

Create and maintain short- and long-term supply plans, monitor inventory and MRP accuracy, raise purchase requests, collaborate with procurement and production planners, manage supply exceptions, and drive MRP/ERP improvements with IT.

Drive development of cloud-native Flood Solutions: deliver resilient production software, collaborate with Product/ML/GIS/SAR scientists, operate and monitor systems, reduce toil through automation, guide architecture decisions, and mentor engineers to improve maintainability and delivery flow.

Design, build, and operate backend services for Tactical Access enabling satellite tasking via API and web. Own API design, reliability, observability, and production operation. Collaborate with product, customers, and teams; improve observability, testing, security, and overall engineering quality.

Own end-to-end product slices across backend and frontend: build production-ready APIs and UIs, participate in on-call rotations, improve observability and CI, automate toil, design maintainable architectures, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Data while mentoring peers.

Manage general ledger accounting, monthly group close and consolidation, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Oversee subsidiaries' adherence to group policies, contribute to IFRS consolidated reporting and FAS parent reporting, support NetSuite ERP improvements, assist year-end audits, and drive process standardisation and controls across entities.
