Your Role: Supply Chain Specialist
The Elanco Vietnam Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supply planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, import/export, transportation, and supply chain processes.
The role considers demand, supply and distribution opportunities within a country.
Ensure all activities and conducts within Supply Chain are in compliance to all company policies, procedures and local law.
Your Responsibilities:
Warehousing management on daily basic:
Material master data relating to warehousing, MSDS management.
Goods receipt into SAP including local FGs, imported FGs, local purchase FGs, local goods (P&I) by strong collaborative with local plant site, customs broker, procurement team. Follow up on solutions if any discrepancy in a timely manner.
Outbound delivery: Daily cooperate with OTC team for delivery arrangement including outbound and PGI
Perform Inventory reconciliation on Monthly Basis and annual stock take activity.
Stock adjustment.
Destruction, Write-Off, Scrapping
Goods return handling.
Sampling management: perform Post good issue and charge to relevant cost center in SAP.
Lead the repacking activity in LSP in case needed.
Payment check and payment support about LSP’s service fee.
LSP management: monitor their KPI and raise improve ideas.
Import/Export: Monitor the whole operational process of import/ export FGs from shipping until goods available for sales including:
Coordinate with team members on import/ export plan.
Coordinate with forwarding agent and relevant parties for quality check registration, customs declaration and clearance.
Follow up quality inspection with authorized labs and other relevant authorities.
Apply the application for exemption of testing in due time.
Payment check and payment support about forwarding service fee, monitor their KPI and raise improve ideas.
Perform the import/export reports to local authorities in due time.
Perform import/export license
Supply planning:
Create supply plans based on demand update to ensure the timely supply of products to market need.
Shipment follow up.
Vendors management.
Other tasks assigned by supervisor, including SC’s projects, new launch…
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ Supply Chain
Previous experience in supply chain, warehouse, and distribution management
Minimum 5-7 years of Supply Chain experience and can be work independently.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Lateral leadership and strong communication skills
Demonstrated learning agility.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively.
Strategic thinking, with practicability in mind
Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and warehouse systems (e.g. SAP, WMS)
Deep understanding of the SC and warehousing processes
Analytical mind with business acumen and attention to detail
Fluent in English and Problem-solving aptitude Ability to work under pressure and compliance with strict deadlines.
Ability to prioritize or work with conflicting priorities.
Project and Change Management skills
Knowledge in Animal Health/Pharma industry is an advantage.

Weekly travel to LSP is required
