Purpose Statement: Responsible for the development, monitoring and execution of tools necessary to capture opportunities to maximize PPV while coordinating with external and internal stakeholders.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain procedures for maximizing PPV through the monitoring of best in class Plexus pricing globally.
- Develop and maintain procedures for ensuring the integrity of the specific cost elements influencing PPV; including, but not limited to EC, QC and Cate Code 6 maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a bi-weekly tracking and review process with the sites and sourcing organization to ensure POs and contracts reflect best available pricing in order to maximize PPV opportunities.
- Establish and adhere to escalation procedures within Plexus as well as with suppliers to assure all viable PPV opportunities materialize.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Manage PPV opportunity tracker in accordance with the "PO standardization process".
- Track progress and closure for opportunities identified and communicated to external and internal stakeholders.
- Generate key information and reports for the purpose of forecasting PPV for the AMER region opportunities as well as generated and realized PPV resulting from the opportunity tracker.
- Frequent follow-up and interaction with the site purchasing teams as well as with the regional commodity management teams to leverage the best T&Cs (LT, pay terms, etc.).
- Develop and maintain metrics related to success rate for all PPV creation opportunities.
- Participate and support PPV related calls with the site and regional teams.
- Assistance to the regional commodity teams on shortage escalations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree in business administrations, Operations Management or related field is preferred.
- One (1) years of related experience is required; Two (2) years of related experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
Other Qualifications:
- Strong Negotiation and Analytical skills.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills are required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
Travel Requirements:
- Less than 40%
