The anticipated salary range for this position is $20-$225hourly with final compensation based on experience, skills, education, and location.
Job Summary
Supply Solutions Material Specialist provides on-site inventory management services for hospitals where needed to provide coverage, clean up, and training for teammates. This position works with PANDAC, SurgiTrack, QSight Perpetual and Kan Ban. This position also assists in implementing all programs as needed.
Job Description
- Core Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and put away of Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology shipments daily.
- Provide reports to Analyst on low and out of stock items in all storage locations.
- Assist with PANDAC, Surgitrack, QSight Perpetual and Kan Ban programs as needed.
- Provide coverage for teammate vacations, leaves of absence, and vacancies in all services.
- Provide customers with feedback regarding supplies received and respond to requests for status on low stock levels.
- Provide basic reports and prompt email correspondence to customers.
- Coordinate activities and workflows with On Site and Regional Managers.
- Provide coverage for teammates vacations, leaves of absence, and vacancies in all services.
- Qualifying Experience
- Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum, two (2) years of work experience in healthcare surgical services and/or logistics materials management and/or project management, required.
- Basic knowledge of (or ability to gain understanding about) wound closure products and procedures as detailed in PANDAC training manual in order to communicate with nursing staff in a professional manner (suture materials, needles, endomechanical products, associated costs and product characteristics).
- Exposure to inventory management software. Ability to effectively use technology to accurately document the movement of supplies. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated effective organizational skills; Ability to manage projects through to completion; Ability to work independently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; Good customer service skills; Ability to work with others in a positive and effective manner.
- Ability to formulate reports, analyze outcomes and make recommendations based on the data.
