As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – Level 3, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position preferably located in Clearfield, UT, but will consider Promontory, UT, or Magna, UT. FT remote work is not available.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
- Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
- Work independently
- Problem solve and find creative solutions
- Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
- Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
- Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Experience in MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP/CostPoint ERP System
- Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
- Experience with FAR/DFAR
- Experience buying tooling or mechanical commodity
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience
- Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience

- An additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
