Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain/Procurement Intern for Summer 2025. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain and procurement within the manufacturing industry. This role provides exposure to various aspects of supply chain management, including procurement activities, supplier relationship development, data analysis, materials planning/scheduling, warehouse, and logistics. Our goal is to give you a comprehensive understanding of how supply chain and procurement principles are applied in our industry.
Term: Summer 2025
Location: BW Flexible Systems in Duncan, SC
Key Responsibilities:
Support BW Flexible System Teams in North America including Purchasing, Planning, Scheduling and Warehousing:

Assist in various supply chain activities, including procurement, data analytics and
-
e-procurement.

Assist in utilization of software tools across various locations
-
Understand and assist in MRP execution

Develop and streamline standard operating procedures for material flow and warehousing

Partner with suppliers to improve purchase order maintenance and escalations

Assist in deploying LEAN tools to support building paretos and drive problem solving in all areas of supply chain

Review and analyze supply chain data to help gain insights into savings potential

Assist in spend analytics to assess risk management profiles for a global supply base

Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, working towards a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Information Technology / Computer Science / Data Analytics or related field
