The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the timely production and delivery of high-quality aerospace components and systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies tailored to meet the unique demands of Aerospace and Manufacturing sectors
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and services necessary for aerospace manufacturing
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Maintain Approved Suppliers List
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with Karman quality policies. Help develop KPIs for suppliers to track to
  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory
  • Prepare reports on supply chain metrics, trends, and forecasts for management
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Supervise and mentor Supply Chain staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability
  • Ensure Processes and Procedures are well documented and followed
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on supply chain operations, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in aerospace and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO9001) and quality assurance standards.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (ERP systems, MRP systems).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of global supply chain practices and regulations specific to the aerospace industry
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen 

ITAR REQUIREMENTS

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Skills Required
