This role is part of our Tactical Missiles and Integrated Defense Systems business, which designs and develops integrated missile and defense systems that support critical missions across air, land, and sea. We combine comprehensive analysis, engineering, and program execution capabilities to deliver mission-tailored solutions that reduce lead times, lower costs, and simplify complex multi-vendor supply chains. Backed by decades of flight-proven and fielded performance, we design and build mission-critical technologies including launch systems, propulsion, payload integration solutions, UAV components, missile subsystems, and Safe & Arm systems.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you lead end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure timely production and delivery of high-quality aerospace components and systems. You develop strategies, optimize procurement, manage supplier relationships, oversee logistics, and coordinate inventory practices to support manufacturing objectives. Your leadership strengthens operational efficiency, supports regulatory and quality compliance, and ensures supply chain readiness for ongoing production demands.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements supply chain strategies tailored to aerospace and manufacturing requirements.
  • Oversees procurement of materials, components, and services required for production.
  • Assesses supplier performance and maintains strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Maintains the approved suppliers list and conducts supplier evaluations and audits for compliance with organizational quality policies.
  • Helps develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance tracking.
  • Manages logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
  • Prepares reports on supply chain metrics, trends, and forecasts for leadership review.
  • Identifies supply chain risks and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Supervises and mentors supply chain staff, promoting teamwork, safety, and accountability.
  • Ensures processes and procedures are documented and followed.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders regarding supply chain operations, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations including AS9100, National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001).
  • Proficiency with supply chain software and tools such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain practices and regulations specific to the aerospace industry.

Special Mentions

  • Moderate travel (10–25%) is required.
