About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a proven track record of results-driven execution to manage and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, cost-effective delivery of products and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee procurement, inventory management, and logistics, with responsibilities for project management and supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
What you'll do:
- Execute supply plan by utilizing MPS and MRP to ensure inventory levels align with the stocking plan.
- Supervise Procurement and Logistics employees.
- Execute supply chain special projects.
- Develop, and maintain, supply chain and procurement procedures and work instructions.
- Verify procurement inputs to RFQ, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure cost competitiveness and quality standards.
- Complete monthly plan vs actuals assessment and drive consensus on responses
- Monitor day-to-day supply chain constraints, develop and execute resolution plans, and escalate stockout risk to relevant stakeholders.
- Execute item setup and BOM structure changes triggered by PLM and ERP updates to ensure data integrity and supply continuity.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while ensuring adequate stock availability and minimizing obsolescence.
- Oversee logistics and transportation planning to ensure efficient and timely product delivery to customers and contract manufacturer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering continuous improvement.
- Monitor supply chain metrics and KPIs; prepare reports and dashboards to track performance, risk management, and identify/escalate issues.
- Support lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies throughout supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including operations, finance, sales, R&D, and customer service.
- Monitor supply chain budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or service levels.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive supply chain or operations management experience
- 3+years of direct people management experience
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and negotiations
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
Bonus Points For:
- APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM, CSCA)
- Experience in regulated medical device environment, subject to 21 CFR Part 820
- NetSuite, Propel PLM, and Asana project management experience
- Experience shipping/transporting Li-ion batteries as Dangerous Goods

Despite tackling a massive and complex public health issue, which has had the same dismal survival rate of 10% for decades, Avive does so with optimism and fervor. Fueled by the words and experiences of those whose lives have been impacted or lost to SCA, the Avive team has simply refused to accept the status quo, working relentlessly to move the needle on survival rates. Rory Beyer, Moseley Andrews, and Sameer Jafri came together with a seemingly simple idea – that anyone can and should be able to positively impact the outcome of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) rescue. Drawn together by their complementary skills and background, they met at a conference focused on SCA prevention and quickly came to share a vision for the profound impact that a more effective solution could have on thousands of families every year.
