Summary
Koolboks
is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead
and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement,
production efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. This role is key to
sustaining operational excellence and supporting the company’s mission of
delivering sustainable cooling solutions.
Key
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal
departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain necessary resources
for an effective supply chain.
- Establish and monitor
performance metrics to evaluate factors affecting supply chain efficiency
and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain accurate
inventories of all materials and supplies across company sites, including
factories and warehouses.
- Maintain optimal stock levels
to ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.
- Analyze current supply chain
procedures; recommend and implement improvements to increase operational
efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and enforce supply
chain policies that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety; lead process
change initiatives as needed.
- Identify optimal shipment and
transportation strategies, focusing on cost reduction and consolidation of
warehousing and distribution.
- Ensure all procurement
activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and proactively
mitigate risks within procurement and supply chain operations.
- Evaluate material-handling
equipment and staffing needs; recommend improvements to enhance material
movement and storage efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers,
vendors, and logistics partners to secure favorable terms for raw
materials and shipping.
- Act as a supply chain advisor
during product development, providing insights on availability and cost of
materials.
- Monitor supplier performance;
assess their ability to meet quality and delivery standards; assist in
onboarding and qualifying new suppliers in partnership with other
departments.
- Take on additional duties and
strategic initiatives as assigned, supporting the ongoing growth and
development of Koolboks.
Requirements
Qualifications
and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply
Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’
experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management,
preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven company.
- Strong understanding of supply
chain principles, inventory management, and procurement regulations.
- Excellent negotiation,
communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain
software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management platforms).
- Proven ability to analyze
data, optimize workflows, and implement process improvements.
- Strong organizational
and problem-solving abilities
