Our Commercial Circuits team in Salt Lake City, UT, is eagerly looking for a site Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team and to oversee a team of supply chain professionals. Provide advanced expertise to support and manage day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives of all aspects of the Supply Chain strategy, material planning, sourcing, MRP execution and Supplier Performance Management.  Manages a team of buyers, planners and logistics personnel to optimize key performance metrics, as well as activities related to sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.

This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off! (Formal schedule is M-Th, 7:00am – 4:00pm, every other Fri 7:00am – 3:00pm)

To be considered for this Supply Chain Manager role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Education & Experience: BS in Supply Chain Management or related field

  • 5 years of Supply Chain experience in Electronics and/or Circuit Card Assembly

    • Negotiating pricing and delivery improvements

    • MRP systems and processes

    • Materials Management

  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work cross functionally with production, quality, engineering, and customers.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Supply Chain Management experience with electronic distribution suppliers (Arrow, Avnet, DigiKey, Future, TTI, etc.)

  • Supply Chain Management experience with printed circuit board suppliers (TTM, Summit, Somacis, Advanced Circuits, etc.)

  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other highly regulated electronics manufacturing.

As our Supply Chain Manager, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for:

  • Lead and develop the site supply chain organization. Supervise, coach, mentor buyers, planners, shipping, receiving and warehouse team members; managing staffing, performance reviews, and career development.

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce supply chain procedures, purchasing, planning, and material handling best practices.

  • Lead material management to ensure on-time availability of parts, consumables, repairs, and tooling to support customer delivery commitments; Proactively manage material shortages and expedite critical items to support material on-time needs.

  • Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance, issue resolution, and supplier development initiatives.

  • Collaborate cross functionality with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to resolve issues and drive program success.

Salary Range Transparency:

Salt Lake City, UT $125,000.00–$180,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
