Meter builds its own networking hardware. Reliable supply chains keep that hardware available for customer deployments. You will own supply execution across our manufacturing partners and suppliers from material and capacity planning to escalations, factory commitments, and pricebook management.
This is a Taiwan based role reporting to the Head of Hardware Business Operations. You will work with our JDMs, Planning , Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, and our supplier network. You will establish verified supply plans, a dependable supplier escalation cadence, and controlled sustaining pricebooks.
What you’ll doSupply execution
Verify material readiness: Reconcile BOM demand, inventory, purchase orders, and supplier confirmations. Validate JDM clear-to-build plans and order timing.
Manage factory and supplier commitments: Align build schedules, shipment dates, sub-tier capacity, and production priorities with Meter’s requirements.
Manage material exposure: Recommend strategic buffers with replenishment triggers and cash exposure. Execute approved buys and track excess or obsolete material.
Lead vendor escalations: Work directly with JDMs, mechanical and PCB suppliers, component vendors, and distributors in Asia. Secure recovery actions for shortages and capacity constraints.
Build the operating cadence: Run weekly supply reviews and supplier visits. Keep demand, inventory, order, and recovery data accurate and decisions visible to US teams.
Own pricebook integrity: Maintain approved component and product BOM prices, revisions, effective dates, and quote sources. Reconcile JDM and purchase prices; resolve variances before commitments.
Implement cost improvements: Run quarterly pricebook reviews and implement approved changes. Partner with Sourcing on cost reductions and terms; sourcing retains commercial negotiations. Accept sustaining execution at NPI handoff.

Effective communication with Taiwan partners and US-based teams in Mandarin and English.
Meter is a vertically integrated networking company. Hardware, software, services, ISP, and autonomous networks all built on a single data pipeline from the local network to the data center.
The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.
We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.
Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.

What We Do
Our bet with Meter is simple: we’ll all use the internet more than we do today. That future depends on networking infrastructure—the invisible plumbing powering every application, space, and data center. But today’s infrastructure is dated and inconsistent, so we’re rebuilding it from the ground up. We design the hardware, write the firmware, build the software, deploy the networks, and run support. It’s a single, integrated networking solution that scales from offices, warehouses, and large campuses to data centers—and today, it’s powering some of the world’s most ambitious organizations.
Why Work With Us
We’re a group of kind and ambitious people who want to do the best work of their career. The work we do across hardware, software, and operations is hard and long-term oriented. We are colleagues who view fast-paced and changing environments as an opportunity—not a bug—and find the agency to move things forward.
