How would you like to join a dynamic team leading warehouse automation, product customization operations, and continuous improvement projects? Supply Chain Managers enjoy making tremendous impacts on our supply chain end-to-end.

We want engineers, supply chain majors and data experts who can handle dynamic work environments and who know how to think outside the box! We rely on our Supply Chain Managers to make and ship our products to the highest of standards.

Your workdays are bound to be lively, and your ability to deal with various supply challenges will be put to the test! As you grow your skills, you’ll develop expertise in warehouse operations, customer relationships and business planning. The colleagues you will interact with are likely to span various disciplines such as Manufacturing, QA, IT, and Engineering. Your responsibilities to assure supply of products will have a direct impact on sales and company growth!

Depending on your final placement, below are variety of responsibilities you could have as a Supply Chain Manager:

  • Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies to improve flow through the warehouse and in our E2E supply chain.

  • Delivery and start-up of new equipment, initiatives, and projects

  • Controlling inventory via warehouse management systems & processes

  • Managing timely shipping & receiving of customer orders and supply

  • Designing and utilizing digital tools to drive scale and work simplification.

  • Developing and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the processing area and enable us to be a supplier of choice for our customers.

  • Understanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and cutting-edge technologies including self-guided vehicles, automated storage and retrieval systems, and automated picking solutions

  • Managing scheduling and capacity for production and material supply

  • Enabling the launch of new products to the market

  • Constructing learning programs, coaching, and training for

    • Ensuring freight capacity and reliable transportation of loads

    • Optimizing inventory at P&G’s warehouses and distribution centers

    • Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies

    • Forecasting customer demand

    • Partnering with retail customers to ensure on-shelf availability of P&G products.

There are two different environments where we staff Supply Network Operations professionals.

Option 1: Fulfillment Center / Warehouse Operations Environment

P&G’s Fulfillment Centers work every day to assure supply of P&G products to our customers – it’s easy to see your direct impact on sales & company growth! Here are some examples of what our warehouse teams are working on:

•      Implementing cutting-edge automation technology (robotics, self-guided vehicles, and automated picking systems – just to name a few!)

•      Optimizing inventory flow to enable best-in-class customer service

•      Designing and utilizing digital tools to analyze and eliminate inefficiencies

•      Managing large teams of associates

 

Option 2: Office Environment

We also have many roles in offices across the country – whether that be our Headquarters in Cincinnati, a Sales office located near one of our top customers, or an Innovation Center. These roles span across many areas of the supply chain, and could include:

  • Forecasting customer demand

  • Managing scheduling and capacity for production and material supply

  • Enabling the launch of new products to the market

  • Ensuring freight capacity and reliable transportation of loads

Job Qualifications

Required

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a degree with relevant experience

  • Excellent visionary, strategic and courageous leadership skills

  • Problem solving via innovation & creativity

  • Strong thinking/problem-solving skills which can be applied to business processes with a "can-do" attitude

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural environment
