Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Commercial Team of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be driving sourcing activities for both onshore and offshore projects. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Leading and executing sourcing activities for several Tier°2/3 contracts related to Offshore Early Development and Onshore renewable projects (Solar and Wind)
  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal gate approvals
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams (PMs, Engineering) and external stakeholders to optimize commercial value
  • Driving supplier management and ensuring the effective handling of all RfP/ITT documents, from document preparation to final negotiation
  • Engaging early with Tier°2/3 suppliers, designers, and consultants to secure the supply chain and address potential constraints
  • Implementing commercial processes, tendering rules, and document handling standards in line with the project’s governing model. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior or lead procurement role, preferably within renewables or construction projects
  • Proven hands-on experience with supply chain relations, negotiations, and managing contracts up to 40 mEUR
  • Strong understanding of procurement and contractual processes, with experience in Incoterms and leading procurement processes would be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
