Job Description
We are seeking an Offshore Site Investigation Manager to join our team for the Liivi offshore wind farm project in Estonia. This role is crucial in ensuring the technical assessment of the Liivi site, which will inform the design of a 1-1.5 GW offshore wind farm developed in partnership with Ignitis Renewables and Copenhagen Offshore Partners. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Collaborate with the Development Team to secure contracts for necessary site investigations (geophysical, geotechnical, metocean)
- Ensure all required permits are obtained for site investigations
- Manage site investigation contracts, ensuring compliance with requirements
- Work closely with technical, environmental, and electrical teams to integrate site investigation results into the overall wind farm design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, or related fields
- 3+ years of professional post-qualification experience in site investigations or a related field
- Understanding of local laws and regulations for conducting site investigations.
Would be an advantage:
- Experience and understanding of geophysical and geotechnical survey specifics
- Experience with offshore wind project surveys
- Experience leading site investigation projects with multiple contractors and interfaces.
