- Assist with the creation and implementation of a standardized alphanumeric location system for the stockroom and designated inventory storage areas.
- Support the physical mapping of racks, shelves, bins, and other storage points to establish an organized and clearly defined location structure.
- Help identify current inventory placement and compare physical storage conditions against existing records and material organization practices.
- Prepare, apply, and maintain labels, signage, and visual controls to support stockroom identification and material location accuracy.
- Create and update spreadsheets, trackers, and related documentation to support stockroom mapping and location assignment activities.
- Partner with stockroom, supply chain, and operations personnel to validate location logic and ensure practical usability of the system.
- Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improved stockroom organization and material flow.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, completed locations, open issues, and recommended improvements.
