The Supply Chain Intern will support day-to-day supply chain and operations activities for an industrial equipment supplier serving the automotive industry. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and data analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-up with suppliers
- Support inventory management activities, including stock analysis and cycle counts
- Help monitor supplier lead times and delivery performance
- Assist with logistics coordination, including inbound and outbound shipments
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Support cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and warehouse staff
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Interest in supply chain, manufacturing, or the automotive industry
