Supply Chain Intern (PAID INTERNSHIP)

About the role
Passionate about business? Your next opportunity will assist our Procurement team with end-to-end procurement initiatives. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Supply Chain Intern who can help with order processing, vendors, suppliers, and more. Based in our modern Irvine office you will be immersed in every aspect of our Procurement environment.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Procurement Team, you’ll mainly be involved with:
- Preparing administrative, contract, and supporting documentation.
- Receiving, researching, and resolving a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to the appropriate persons.
- Filing, maintaining, and distributing documents, records, and reports.
- Assisting in key stakeholder and department reviews.
- Supporting ad hoc projects as needed.
- Performing other duties as required to support Procurement Department
What you’ll bring
Think you could make a difference here? We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about the welfare of our team. You’ll want to make an impact from day one. You will also have the following:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business, supply chain, construction administration, or a related field
- 3rd year undergraduate and above with a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment within a growing company
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to follow up on pending issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
