- Manage and drive quality issues related to supplier safety, quality, and site MQI closure performance. Scope may include chairing and leading 8D work with suppliers and modules to close prevention plans. Drive continuous quality improvement with supplier in partnership with partner FCS teams. As well as driving MQI closure Through Put Time (TPT) to industry standards.
- Drive improvement to factory manufacturing availability and to liaise with the factory on supplier labor issues (e.g. local FSE labor, supplier performance, long tool down recovery) for F9 in New Mexico.
- Responsible for driving manufacturing availability (MA) performance across limiting toolsets within factory in partnership with modules. Includes problem definitions, roadmap building, and engagement/escalation with suppliers to resolve limiting module issues.
- Responsible to work with factory modules and factory leadership to improve cost structures, drive performance to outcome based contracts, and identify cost savings contracting opportunities across the functional areas within the local factory.
- Conduct cost control, process optimization, and production yield studies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain leads to implement programs that elevate quality and streamline operations.
- Establish control standards, define KPIs, monitor performance, and drive solutions for supply chain challenges.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives focusing on reliability, yield, cost, and performance optimization.
- Manage quality excursion processes and failure mode analysis with suppliers and Quality teams to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- As a senior SCE, the candidate is expected to lead/coach and mentor less experienced SCEs and capable to drive VF wide improvements and standardization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive supplier accountability, develop quality standards, and implement process improvements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with diverse groups, and influence stakeholders effectively.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field and 4+ years of experience OR PhD in the same fields and 2+ years of experience.

- Root cause analysis and model based problem solving (MBPS), KPI development, and performance tracking for supply chain operations.
