JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
Develop and execute the supply strategy to meet the growth aspirations of nutritional products in the Taiwan affiliate. This includes providing supply chain and logistics policies, procedures, and activities include supply planning, logistics, inventory management, importation and exportation as well as warehousing and distribution and offering strategic solutions. Present capability and capacity options, as well as challenges and opportunities, to Abbott Nutrition GM. This role is integral to the capital planning process and the resourcing of products between manufacturing plants (both internal and TPM) to support commercial growth in Abbott Nutrition. Ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operations while complying with local laws and corporate regulations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Management
- Oversee the overall logistics and warehouse budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and priorities spending
- Provide improvements and best practice processes and procedures to supply chain management, optimization of forecasting accuracy, management of logistics and distribution processes. Implement policy and procedure for business process improvement.
- Provide overall leadership and direction with appointed suppliers in all matters relating to supply chain functions. Oversee the sourcing budget, pricing and negotiation process. Monitors and evaluates providers performance, including development of Key Performance Indicators
- Manage the distribution and warehousing team to ensure all processes run efficiently.
- Manage risk and plan ahead on any impact that due matters for on-time delivery issue or quality of products.
- Manage for the planning to achieve both stock and customers objectives through forecasting demand, setting safety stocks, managing forward orders.
- Ensure all operations are in compliance with company and government regulatory rules.
- Generate reports and performance measures in terms of inventory availability, stock turnover, on-time supply to support business decision making
- Effectively engage cross-functional team, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, distributor and all related teams to drive business objectives.
- Foster a working environment to attract, retain talents and maintain a strong supply chain team.
- Coach, develop and motivate staff so as to achieve top performance. Support employees in implementing development plans. Identify and develop succession plan and address staffing issues in a proactive manner.
- Work with ANSC Team to have synergy and standardization in supply chain functions.
- Regularly review supply chain and warehousing model to optimize standards, capabilities, cost efficiency and working capital. Implement related Business Excellence Programs in supply chain team.
- In charge of several big events: Logistics Annual Workshop, Supporting Team Kick Off Meeting, All Employees Volunteer Day.
Sales & Operations Planning(S&OP) / Demand Management
- Drive the improvements in Key Performance Indicators such as Forecast accuracy, sales planning and executions etc. for operational excellence.
- Plan, direct, and monitor the overall demand planning and S&OP requirements for Abbott Nutrition including input to rolling Latest Business Estimate (rLBE) and Forecast preparation. Responsible for Forecast Accuracy.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATION
- Exceptional supply chain, logistic and warehouse management experience with minimum of 12 years relevant experience in supply chain/demand planning fast moving physical goods with complex/large scale portfolio
- Proven track record of effectively managing and improving supply chain teams and processes in a large multinational corporate producing consumer goods or other FMCG products
- Proficiency to manage project, 3PL and business process improvement
- Possess strong leadership, willing to do attitude
- Proficient people management skills, with strong interpersonal skill to develop and nurture relationships across different functions
- Strong communication, organizing, analytical, negotiation skills, numerical sense and problem solving skills and sophisticated in presenting the findings.
- Hands-on experienced in ERP system
- Excellent command of English and Mandarin
