Position Summary
The Supply Chain Data Steward is responsible for designing and overseeing the collection, processing, and utilization of data within the department. They ensure high data quality, supporting efficient business processes by maintaining accuracy, reliability, accessibility, and security across all systems and operations. This role is crucial in facilitating effective data interaction and ensuring the data infrastructure supports organizational goals effectively.
Job Responsibilities

Report internal metrics to relevant members of the organization and identify, track and evaluate issues regularly.

Act as an intermediary between various stakeholders, including data owners, data users, and IT teams,

Use system knowledge and department feedback to create high quality databases that can benefit department decisions.

Establish standardized guidelines for data entry to ensure consistency and accuracy in the company database.

Work closely with data to predict potential trends, identify patterns and make recommendations.

Create executive level formatted presentations, charts, KPIs.

Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.

Create processes that allow members of the company to interact with the data.

Use problem-solving skills to detect the causes of errors in the data and to determine solutions that protect the integrity of the data.

Ensure that the data is accessible, usable, safe, and trusted.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Technology, or related field required.

Expert in Excel.
-
2+ years in data management, governance or analysis roles, with a preference for additional experience in business or a related industry.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with value analysis, forecasting, cost/price analysis, production processes, accounting, and short-and long- range planning.

Oracle ERP experience.

Project management skills.
Physical Demands

Will work at a desk / computer as well as the occasional use of copiers, fax machines, and scanners.

Visual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish fine detail.

Must possess ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Must possess ability to perform repetitive motion.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
