HyLight’s mission is to help society become more resilient to climate change by improving the observation and inspection of infrastructure.
We build HyLighters, airships that collect data across vast distances with zero emissions.
Our activities include:
Detecting methane leaks from gas infrastructures (4% of global GHG emissions)
Inspecting power lines to prevent outages and wildfires
By 2030, we aim to become the global leader in aerial monitoring.
In just 3 years, we have pushed the realm of possibilities, as we have:
Developed 8 iterations of the HyLighter
Logged over 300 flight hours
Secured our first inspection contracts with Europe’s largest infrastructure operators
Joined the world’s top startup accelerator, Y Combinator
Raised €6 millions
HyLight is aiming for a diverse and included team, if your profile doesn't fit all the description but you can bring a diverse point of view, push it forward, it will be highly appreciated.
We’re well-funded and backed by top investors, providing the resources you wish you had when building your own business. We don’t care about traditional roles or titles—just that you’re smart, proactive, and bring the same founder-level ownership and drive to help us build something massive.
As we transition from prototyping to a robust industrial production line, ensuring that our workshop has the right parts, at the right time, and in the right version is critical.
Job Summary:As a Supply Chain & Configuration Coordinator, you will be responsible for keeping the production line moving without interruption. You will own inventory visibility, manage incoming parts, and ensure perfect traceability across our production line. By building and maintaining a clear view of our inventory (Line of Balance), validating incoming parts, and tracking which component goes into which airship, you will directly enable our production ramp-up.
The Mission:In collaboration with the Production Team, your responsibilities will focus on Inventory Management, Configuration Control, and Traceability:
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Create, manage, and update the Line of Balance to track all internal and external components against our production schedule.
Anticipate shortages, track order statuses, and communicate delivery dates clearly to the production team.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and build strong operational relationships.
Configuration Management & Traceability
Track and manage production configurations: ensure the exact hardware versions and sub-assemblies are properly assigned to each specific airship.
Guarantee the flawless follow-up of all assembled parts throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring full traceability from reception to the final product.
Validation & “Recette” (Incoming Inspection)
Perform incoming quality checks (recette) on parts received from suppliers.
Ensure all components meet our technical specifications and quality standards before they are released to the shop floor.
Quarantine non-compliant parts and manage returns or corrective actions with suppliers.
Education: Technical Degree (BTS, DUT, or Licence Pro / Bac+2 or Bac+3) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Management, Quality, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of operational experience in supply chain, stock management, or manufacturing coordination, ideally in a hardware, aerospace, automotive, or industrial startup environment.
Skills: You are highly organized and comfortable with data tracking (advanced Excel/spreadsheets or ERP experience). You understand Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical configurations.
Mindset: You have a sharp eye for detail. You do not take “everything is fine” for an answer without verifying it yourself. You are hands-on, rigorous, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
