Internship focused on Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) for an autonomous airship. Responsibilities include modeling airship dynamics, designing control and guidance laws, developing robustness and safety strategies, integrating and debugging embedded hardware, conducting flight tests and simulations, documenting results, and improving current and future flight systems.

Support the CBO in sourcing and qualifying high-potential customers, building prospect lists, conducting outreach (email/LinkedIn/phone), managing early-stage relationships, supporting pre-sales, researching market trends and competitors, collaborating with technical teams, and building scalable business development processes.

Support mechanical integration and testing of HyLight airships: assist conceptual CAD design, prototype and manufacture components, run mechanical and reliability tests (fatigue, vibration, HALT/HASS), perform root-cause analysis for field failures, and iterate designs from workshop to flight-ready assemblies.

Own HyLight’s expansion into Germany by developing the go-to-market strategy, securing utility pilot projects, converting them into contracts, establishing the German entity, and building local operations. The role involves enterprise business development, partnerships, negotiations, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, customer feedback, recruitment, and extensive travel. The first 3–6 months are based at HyLight’s French headquarters before relocating to Germany.

Design and integrate embedded electronics for hydrogen-powered airships, including custom PCBs, power management, avionics, sensors, communications, and hardware-software interfaces. Prototype, solder, test, debug, and validate electronic systems under flight conditions. Manage PCBA manufacturing with suppliers and ensure quality control while collaborating with software, mechanical, embedded, aerospace, and propulsion teams.

Work on embedded flight and ground software for autonomous hydrogen airships: design software architecture, implement hardware abstraction layers, extend/integrate PX4 and QGroundControl, improve CI/CD and automated testing, debug avionics, and contribute to system-level studies and payload integration under CTO guidance.

Own sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical and business roles. Source, engage, screen, and build pipelines using LinkedIn and other platforms. Partner with hiring managers, run interviews, craft outreach campaigns, and use recruiting metrics to improve hiring. Maintain strong candidate experience and stay current on talent market trends.

Own HyLight’s commercial pipeline across target infrastructure accounts, from outbound prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and renewal. Develop account and territory strategies, build enterprise relationships, analyze markets and customer needs, and create business cases for technical buyers. Partner with product and engineering teams on customer solutions and roadmap input while improving CRM processes, forecasting, and sales playbooks. Represent the company at industry events and client sites.

Four- to six-month internship supporting airworthiness, systems testing, verification, and flight operations for HyLight’s unmanned airships. Responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, validating components and integrated systems, supporting flight campaigns, collecting and reporting data, and developing maintenance, flight, compliance, and integration documentation. The role requires hands-on aerospace systems knowledge, attention to traceability and quality, and collaboration with engineering and flight teams.

Coordinate end-to-end recruiting operations for a fast-growing climate tech startup: schedule interviews, manage ATS and job postings, source candidates on LinkedIn, support hiring managers, track metrics, coordinate onboarding, and help employer branding and recruiting events during a 6-month contract.
