The Supply Chain Analyst uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and improve supply chain processes. This role is responsible for analyzing supply chain performance, identifying issues, and developing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, inventory management, and material availability. The position supports data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. The role follows a hybrid work model (3 days in office and 2 days work from home) and operates in the EMEA shift (12:30 PM IST to 9:30 PM IST).
Key Responsibilities- Provide analytical support to one or more supply chain functional areas.
- Use standard processes, tools, and information systems to perform supply chain analysis and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across analytics, dashboards, and reports.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
- Support inventory management and optimization initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Participate in Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain performance.
- Utilize business systems and analytics tools to deliver repeatable and scalable reporting solutions.
- Analyze material availability, shortage issues, and MRP outputs to support planning decisions.
- Use materials planning systems to manage supply and demand plans and resolve exception messages through root cause analysis.
- Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles to support efficient materials flow, master data management, transport management, and warehouse operations.
- Extract, transform, model, and interpret supply chain data to support problem solving and strategic decision-making.
- Develop inventory strategies and planning parameter improvements to optimize inventory investment while maintaining service levels.
- Support materials KPI management by evaluating performance gaps, understanding customer impact, and balancing supply chain trade-offs.
- Inventory Management and Analytics (Must Have)
- Experience in Inventory Reduction or Optimization initiatives (Must Have)
- Knowledge of Material Availability, Shortage Management, and MRP (Must Have)
- Exposure to Oracle ERP (Preferred)
- Material Planning and Supplier Procurement knowledge (Preferred)
- Understanding of Safety Stock concepts (Preferred)
- Exposure to Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools (Nice to Have)
- Strong learning mindset and adaptability (Must Have)
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities (Preferred)

- Minimal to intermediate level of experience in supply chain analytics, inventory management, or materials planning.
- Experience working with analytics tools, ERP systems, and supply chain data analysis is preferred.

- Inventory Management and Optimization: Develops strategies to optimize inventory investment across the supply chain.
- Material Planning: Uses advanced planning tools and dashboards to improve material availability and inventory performance.
- Materials KPI Management: Evaluates supply chain performance against targets and identifies improvement actions.
- Values Differences: Recognizes and respects diverse perspectives and cultures within a global organization.
- College, university, or equivalent degree required (Engineering or Supply Chain related field preferred).
- Understanding of supply chain operations including materials planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.
