At embecta, supply chain planning bridges the gap between commercial teams and manufacturing plants to achieve company goals. Our mission is to prioritize customer satisfaction, maintain healthy inventory levels, and reduce costs—all with the support of robust data analytics.

This role is based in our EMEA Head office in Eysins, Canton Vaud, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be based in this location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools to manage inventory projection.
  • Manage inventory projection for short and long term.
  • Identify low stock and excess items.
  • Demand planning: Calculate statistical forecast (Using IBP)
  • Identify the skus with over or under forecast trend, and track actions with the demand planner.
  • Shipments: identify production orders with short shipments and correct the quantity in the system
  • Reporting on a daily weekly and monthly basis to share back-order reports with commercial teams (daily) Update inventory projections (weekly) and update key performance indicators (KPIs) like back orders, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels(monthly)
  • Act as the official backup for the EMEA demand and supply planner.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to support supply chain efficiency.

Experience

  • University degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years in supply chain, finance, or data analytics.
  • Strong data analytics expertise with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Business fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Experience with SAP and Power BI is highly desirable.
