The Supply Chain Analyst provides comprehensive data analytics and administrative support to the Distribution Center leadership as needed. These duties include, but are not limited to, distribution analytics related to performance, cost center analysis, and other tasks as assigned. Coordinate with interdepartmental leadership, including distribution, logistics, quality, and facilities to ensure analytics requirements are cohesive across departments and sites. In addition, the Supply Chain Analyst will need to analyze data and processes and provide the supply chain organization as well as other cross functional groups the information necessary to effectively manage the distribution center network from supplier through to customer.
The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

*This position requires working onsite at our Duncan, SC location.Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with leadership team to understand data and tools needed to better operate the business.

  • Exhibits a deep understanding of our business. Understand impact of our operation on stakeholders, internal customers, external customers, business partners, etc.

  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the operation from a data, analytics, and tools perspective.

  • Utilize data and analytics to ‘tell the operational story’. Present data in a manner that is relevant to the organization and the goals of the organization. 

  • Conduct sound analysis using critical information and data to aid the business in making operational decisions and developing innovative solutions.

  • Operate with a sense of urgency and executes to timelines and deadlines

  • Partner across departmental and divisional boundaries to impact the continuous improvement of the operation.

  • Provide detailed financial and operation reports and analysis of transportation, warehousing and special project costs as needed.

  • Collaborate with other Fresenius Kabi functional areas (e.g., order management, sales & marketing, product managers, manufacturing), suppliers, distribution centers, and third party logistic in support of strategic initiatives both within the supply chain organization and across the business units.

  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement correction actions to resolve performance deficiencies.

  • Creation and reporting of daily, weekly, monthly metrics related to purchasing and distribution activities.

  • Provide a high level of customer service for our internal and external clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree required; Finance, accounting, supply chain or similar field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in metrics creation/reporting 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Experience in logistics and warehousing 

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong PC skills (MS Office); SAP experience a plus
