As a Demand & Supply Specialist, you will support the day-to-day coordination of supply chain activities, ensuring timely material availability, accurate documentation, and smooth collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. You will play a key role in maintaining operational flow and compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards. You will be reporting to the ESO - META Senior Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
Operational Coordination:
- Plan and purchase materials (HAWA, BULK, FERT, ROH, PACK) and maintain SAP master data.
- Release purchase orders and ensure product availability in free condition.
- Collaborate with demand planning, purchasing, quality, and warehouse teams to support supply continuity.
- Coordinate packaging changes and product launches with internal departments.
- Organize sample shipments across the supply network.
- Monitor incoming goods and report weekly supply status.
- Track OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and report deviations.
Invoice & Cost Support:
- Process and assign invoices via Coupa.
- Maintain awareness of transportation, customs, and related supply costs.
Deviation & Risk Support:
- Support investigations of supply-related deviations in collaboration with Quality (TrackWise).
- Assist in preparing documentation for stockpiling approvals and supplier service requests.
- Participate in quarterly safety stock reviews and support volume allocation discussions
Team Collaboration
- Provide backup support to other Demand & Supply Specialists when needed.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues across the Ops Centre team.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure procurement and supply documentation is accurate and compliant with SOPs and Delegated Authorities.
- Support external audit CAPA coordination and follow-up.
- Execute additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, demand planning, or supply coordination—preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with global teams and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., Coupa) and basic understanding of supply chain KPIs is a plus.
