JOB SUMMARY:

The Supplier Support Analyst plays a crucial role in facilitating the onboarding process for new vendors and/or new stores associated with acquisitions, as well as managing store back-office systems transitions. This position requires comprehensive analysis to support various activities, including but not limited to, wholesale and CDC store changes, vendor acquisitions, assortment changes between vendors and new stores, and launches of organic new stores or new product lines. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions and providing analytical insights to optimize operations and enhance vendor relationships.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Act as Project Lead: Take charge of projects and assign cross-functional responsibilities by team, ensuring alignment with targeted go-live dates for new vendors and/or new stores. Oversee the entire project lifecycle from inception to successful implementation.
• Collaborate with Vendors: Work closely with vendors to gather necessary information required for setup across various departments and systems, including Accounting, Merchandising, and IT (EDI). Ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational requirements.
• Vendor Setup Management: Ensure that new vendors are fully set up for ordering, invoicing, and item assortment. Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the setup process and address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Documentation and Submission: Collect, review, and submit all required internal forms and documentation for processing across systems. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the setup process.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Data Analysis: Proficiency in extracting and analyzing data, identifying trends, and comparing patterns to execute strategic decision-making. Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks and processes, particularly in data analysis and documentation.
• Familiarity with Distribution Channels: Understanding of Direct Store Delivery (DSD), wholesale, and Consolidated Distribution Channel (CDC), including their operational dynamics and requirements.
• Excel Proficiency: Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to effectively manage and manipulate large datasets for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders, conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to evolving priorities and changing circumstances.
