Job DescriptionKey targets:
- In line with AUMOVIO Global Quality understanding "Quality First", strive and drive Zero Defect requirement to the supplier base.
- Drive Zero Defect Culture within the SQM organization.
- Ensure Best in Class "consistent and sustainable" supplier quality performance to support perfect launches and no spills
Areas of responsibility / Main Tasks:
- Centralized components: sourcing, qualification, introduction and release components according AUMOVIO Product Life Cycle and APQP management (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
- Handover of released components to the plant with focus on suppliers, development locations and plants.
- Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.) to ensure that our components meet all defined requirements.
- Review of sourcing documentation and preparation for team decision
- Work in international and multi-disciplinary teams including e.g. Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, local SQM departments, Customer Quality and Logistic.
- Qualification, introduction and release of suppliers, technologies and manufacturing processes by VDA6.3 Audits with high focus on early involvement and failure prevention.
- Drive escalation topics in order to solve the problem in a systematic manner, e.g. Red Alerts
- Project leader (coach) for Supplier Quality Improvement Program
- Deploy lessons learned / read across through the Category, organization and towards suppliers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Supplier Quality Management.
- Good understanding of Component Introduction in design and development phase and APQP management
- Good knowledge in process for plastic overmolding/molding, stamping, press-fit stamping, sub-component assembly, automated inline testing, wire cutting/terminating for cable assemblies
- Strong Knowledge in quality related methodologies and standards (eg. FMEA, 8D review, 5why, Problem Solving, etc)
- Experience in performing process audits based on VDA 6.3.
- Experience in automotive industry and standards (eg. IATF 16949)
- Able to work independently and also in team-based environment
- Willing to travel to be onsite at supplier and short-notice in case of escalation.
