Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To be considered for Supplier Quality Engineer you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing or a two year technical degree with 5 years of quality/machining experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office 

  • Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually sometimes with short notice (domestic travel and occasionally internationally). 

  • Preferred experience in identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers.

  • Preferred experience in resolving and improving quality, scheduling, and performance related issues.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will manage all quality aspects of Moog’s supplier relationships, including:

  • Conducting supplier audits

  • Maintaining supplier ratings communication

  • On-boarding new suppliers

  • Engaging with suppliers to resolve quality issues

  • Ongoing supplier risk assessment

  • Minimizing internal risks related to incoming inspections

  • Other duties as assigned

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $60,000.00–$90,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
