ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The supervisor – HAH will work 7 days a week and also to stay overnight. He/she can take
leave on any weekdays as designed by the reporting head. He /she can take leave during the
day time in emergency but cannot leave the premises at night without any alternative.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Cankids HAH is designed to be a lowcost model with minimum investment and running and
maintenance costs. It integrates the issue and challenges of accommodation into treatment
care and support systems at adjoining cancer centers. Families are provided with a kitchen
kit, a room kit, and a school kit for the children. They are encouraged to prepare home-
cooked meals for their children, but there are also celebration meals. Rations are provided
raised through local donations. There are school activities in the HAH and multi-functional
areas for entertainment, parent forums, celebrations and therapeutic activities.

1. Must possess computer knowledge like MS office and internet
2. Good spoken and written Hindi language
3. Must possess team player qualities
4. Good problem-solving skills.

1. Overall task completion and day to day running of HAH
2. Orient families to HAH policies and procedures
3. Complete admission and discharge process with families
4. Ensure monitor conduct, discipline and security at HAH
5. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene at HAH and manage laundry service, sweeper and
weekly monitor task
6. Undertake administrative responsibilities
7. Maintain attendance registers and files and office cupboard
8. Disburse and take back parent kits and deposits
9. Take room rent, donations manage petty cash and clear dues with accountant
10. Maintain daily and weekly reports.
11. Maintain inventory of donations received etc.
Skills Required
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and internet use
- Good spoken and written Hindi language skills
- Team-player qualities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Available to work seven days a week and stay overnight onsite
