  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 12-hour rotating shift (2-2-3 schedule)
  • Work pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on (alternating weekly)
  • Includes weekend rotation

Work Environment:
Non-temperature controlled warehouse; exposure to seasonal heat and cold

 
 
Job Summary: 

The Supervisor, Assembly Operations is responsible for the overall performance of hut / infrastructure shelter assembly and integration operations, including production output, quality, safety, and labor efficiency. This role leads assembly teams to ensure the installation of shelving, racking, and equipment into hut / infrastructure shelter is executed consistently, at scale, and in alignment with engineering specifications and customer requirements.

The Supervisor owns operational systems, meeting daily and weekly production targets, maintaining standard work, developing team capability, and driving continuous improvement on the production floor.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production Leadership & Execution

  • Supervise day-to-day assembly operations involving hut / infrastructure shelter, including installation of shelves, mounting hardware, cable management systems, and related components 
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and adjust staffing or priorities to meet production schedules and deadlines 
  • Ensure assemblies are completed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions 
  • Coordinate workflow across staging, assembly, and final preparation to maintain consistent throughput 
  • Identify and escalate material shortages, drawing issues, or constraints that impact production



Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of assembly technicians to improve their performance, quality, and engagement 
  • Provide clear expectations around productivity, quality, and safety standards 
  • Responsible for performance management, scheduling, training, and daily oversight of assigned team
  • Conduct regular performance feedback, and corrective action when needed 
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members 
  • Supports continuous improvement by following established processes, identifying inefficiencies or issues, and contributing to solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity. Leverages available tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, where appropriate to improve efficiency and streamline work.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and coordinate in inspection and validation processes with Quality Assurance
  • Identify defects, rework trends, or inefficiencies and partner with engineering/quality to resolve root causes 
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team 
  • Maintain training & quality matrices to ensure knowledge gaps are addressed

Safety & Compliance

  • Lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing all safety protocols
  • Conduct regular safety observations and address hazards immediately
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE 
  • Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions

Coordination & Communication

  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations leadership to ensure materials, drawings, and labor are aligned with production needs
  • Communicate production status, risks, and constraints clearly to leadership
  • Escalate issues impacting delivery, quality, safety, or productivity in a timely manner

 

Managerial Responsibility
 

  • Direct supervision of Assembly Technicians
     

Travel/Shift Requirements

  • No travel required
  • Position supports standard production shift hours; flexibility may be required to support production needs

Physical Demands

  • Primarily based in a warehouse or light manufacturing environment 
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) 
  • Regular use of hand and power tools 
  • Exposure to typical production floor conditions (noise, equipment movement, etc.) 


Skills and Abilities Required

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions 
  • Familiarity with hut / infrastructure shelter, racking systems, or similar assembly environments strongly preferred 
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement techniques 
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining trust 
  • Ability to prioritize work and make real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment 
  • Effective communication skills across frontline employees and leadership 
  • Experience using production tracking systems, work orders, or ERP/MRP systems
  • Knowledge of 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement practices preferred
     

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade training preferred 
  • 3+ years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or telecom infrastructure environments 
  • 2+ years of experience leading or supervising teams preferred 
  • Experience in structured manufacturing environments with defined processes and metrics strongly preferred
