JOB SUMMARY: Manage the daily operations and related staff associated with the Support Services group. Participate in and lead the work of subordinates.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Utilize staffing models and monitor daily inventory in order to effectively manage the team. Reallocate resources as necessary in order to meet/exceed production, quality and cycle time goals for these areas.
2. Oversee and become the subject matter expert for all areas of Support services. Understand the details of the machinery, how to troubleshoot and triage issues as well as ensure optimum performance.
3. Create and correct processes which will support operations.
4. Manage all inventory and meet current goals as a team and within each function. Proactively evaluate and assess current goals and performance. Develop and produce daily, weekly, and monthly team productivity statistics to measure compliance and effectiveness of team operations; provide weekly feedback to department management on results, trends, corrective action, and/or opportunities for improvement.
5. Develop and implement department policies and procedures. Monitor for compliance as necessary.
6. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other departments to research and resolve issues.
7. Manage projects from initiation to completion, as needed, to develop process improvement or data integrity initiatives at the department and organizational level.
8. Manage employee performance, including but not limited to, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
9. Schedule and/or perform USPS mail delivery service as needed.
10. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
11. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
13. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk Role.

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent works under moderate supervision, leading and motivating a team that is primarily focused on intake for all incoming channels of communication and referrals. The incumbent must use independent judgment to identify issues, trends and possible problems and recommend action plans to senior management. The incumbent must be able to balance several projects at a time that may be varied or complex, while maintaining a focus on achieving all department goals for quality and service.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience.
* Minimum 2 years supervisory experience or minimum 2 years of experience in this or other related department.
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable.
* Experience in a high volume, date driven production/quality environment
* Knowledge of complex data systems.
* Communication (written, verbal and listening), leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to use software, hardware and peripherals related to job responsibilities including MS Office Suites, Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.
