Support the Sr. Manager in creating, promoting, maintaining, and overseeing safety standards for the Real Estate Operations division.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the development and implementation of HSE related company policies, procedures, and programs on safety while ensuring compliance/conformance with OHSAS standards and regulations
- Oversee contractors and ensure their compliance with contract requirements
- Oversee the implementation of EHS standards and ensure that staff 1) follow the guidelines set by senior management as closely as possible, and 2) report any issues that may negatively impact implementation
- Review blueprints/plans and ensure there is no danger to the health or safety of workers or site visitors
- Supervise safety and security staff
- Visit construction sites to ensure implementation of the correct safety policies and procedures
- Attend meetings and liaise with external parties such as municipality inspectors to facilitate evaluation of construction sites, and other agencies on matters regarding workplace health and safety
- Liaise with agencies for regular updates on local legal regulations and program initiatives on workplace safety and environmental issues
- Look into accident and injury claims company-wide and ensure necessary documentation are in place
- Keep abreast of updates to international and local health and safety regulations
- Assist in educating personnel on health and safety policies and company safety goals; arrange training programs on safety measures in the workplace
- Assist in developing plans for emergency procedures
Requirements
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in safety management or related field
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience

- Broad knowledge of local government regulations and all relevant environmental laws
- Excellent knowledge in safety standards and quality management concepts
- Excellent English skills (written and verbal)
- People management skills
