Our Supervisor Reliability Testing will be the Team Lead for the Lipa reliability laboratory and is responsible for local execution, team performance, and operational management of the assigned reliability testing activities. The Supervisor Reliability Testing ensures that reliability tests are executed safely, consistently, and on time in accordance with global Chapter standards, methods, and defined test specifications. The role focuses on stable day-to-day operations, team leadership, workload planning, and the stepwise build-up of Lipa as an Operations & Assembly Quality Hub for production-proximate reliability work.
About the Position:Execution responsibility for reliability tests in Lipa in accordance with global standards, methods, and defined test specifications
Disciplinary and operational leadership of the local Lipa reliability lab team, including performance management, feedback, coaching, and development
Planning, assignment, and prioritization of daily lab activities to ensure timely and high-quality execution of ORM, line support, production site transfers, cost-saving qualifications, and standard REL requests
Ensuring delivery in line with defined Chapter standards, performance expectations, priority logic, and Definition of Done
Application of global methods, execution guidelines, test readiness rules, and documentation expectations in daily operations
Coordination of local resources, schedules, equipment availability, samples, and lab activities to meet project, production, and customer-related requirements
Acting as first-level escalation authority for operational issues, safety concerns, test interruptions, equipment bottlenecks, and workload conflicts; escalation to Chapter Lead when required
Monitoring and management of local flow KPIs, including execution reliability, cycle time, on-time delivery, schedule adherence, backlog stability, and data/documentation quality
Identification of operational inefficiencies and implementation of improvements within the local Lipa lab scope together with the team and support functions
Development and coaching of team members, identification of skill gaps, training needs, cross-training opportunities, and capability development for Lipa REL ramp-up
Ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including safe handling of equipment, materials, high-voltage/high-temperature test setups, and environmental test conditions
Promoting and enforcing 6S principles within the lab to maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and audit-ready working environment
Conducting regular Gemba walks to monitor daily operations, identify issues early, strengthen standard work, and drive continuous improvement
Ensuring adherence to EHS standards and active participation in audits, inspections, corrective actions, and preventive measures
Identification and mitigation of safety risks and implementation of preventive measures within the local Lipa lab environment
About You:Completed apprenticeship, technician qualification, or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, physics, materials science, or comparable technical discipline
5+ years of experience in reliability testing, semiconductor testing, quality lab operations, or comparable technical laboratory environment
Initial or proven leadership experience in team coordination, shift/lab coordination, technical leadership, or supervisory roles
Structured, execution-focused, safety-oriented working style with strong ownership for delivery, people development, and process discipline
Very good English skills and ability to lead in a global, intercultural lab environment
