Job Description

CEDA is recruiting for a Supervisor role in Regina, SK. This position will report directly to the Manager, Operations. The Supervisor will act as the main point of contact for appointed sites or projects. They will also oversee field operations, supervise crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring field operations and ongoing projects to ensure job completion in an efficient, reliable, cost effective and safe manner for an assigned site or project
  • Collaborating with management on all operational and personnel issues
  • Supervising to ensure the safe operation our industrial cleaning equipment
  • Completing required paperwork for assigned projects and jobs
  • Coordinating maintenance and checks on company vehicles and equipment
  • Providing leadership, strategic direction and vision for future growth and development by ensuring that employees are informed, aligned and accountable
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relations by leading through safe work performance and measurable key performance indicators
  • Assisting with the investigation and management of site incidents
  • Reviewing all safety participation and encouraging employee involvement
  • Assisting with the development of safe work procedures and training development
  • Working with other site supervisors to coordinate manpower and equipment needs
  • Monitoring progress against project schedules and budgets
  • Arranging employee development and managing performance
  • Providing support with discipline
  • Required to be on call on a regular basis
  • Ability to travel and flexibility in scheduling is required

Role Specifications

  • Class 1A or 3A license with approved driving abstract,
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial services/maintenance in the oil & gas industry 
  • 3+ years in a management or supervisory role,
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Strong computer skills – experience with Microsoft Suite of office products,
  • Understanding of and dedication to teamwork.
  • You have an uncompromising belief in teamwork that allows you to effectively collaborate with others while supporting the goals of the business,
  • You lead by example, having the ability to articulate the business vision, strategy and service capabilities to all levels inside and outside the organization,
  • Your open style and hands-on approach allows you to build positive relationships across the organization and with external customers,
  • You are highly motivated and proactive; eagerly accepting new challenges and working under minimal supervision.

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Enjoy working outdoors even in harsh weather conditions
  • You have a natural ability to lead crews where you can share a laugh, do the challenging work and get the job done safely
